A Sparkly Affair: Year 12 Ball

The Year 12 Ball is a highlight of the College calendar each year, and this year was no different. Dressed in their finest, the Year 12 girls and their partners welcomed the new school year with their Ball recently. It was a wonderful celebration and a fantastic way to come back together after the holidays to start their final year together at the College.

The Ball was held in the River View Room at Optus Stadium, and the ballroom looked absolutely stunning.

As the girls arrived, they were greeted by Principal, Jennifer Oaten and Director of Pastoral Care, Danielle Spark. The girls introduced their partners for the evening before heading outside to the Championship Terrace for canapés and mocktails. The Terrace was a hive of activity and colour as everyone excitedly greeted each other.

Once inside the ballroom, Head Girl, Elouise Parsons, welcomed everyone for the evening before meals were served. After dinner, the dance floor came alive, and the girls and their guests enjoyed dancing throughout the rest of the evening.

Due to COVID-19 guidelines, students could remove masks at particular times during the evening. We saw some very fancy masks that sparkled or were designed to match ball gowns.

It was a fabulous evening and one we are sure the girls will remember for a long time to come.
