Congratulations to Grace Beeson (Year 8) who, along with her team, has been selected to participate at the National Dragon Boat Championships in Brisbane in March. Grace is a member of the Junior Signets team at the Fremantle Swan Boating Club. Grace has been dragon boating for two seasons.

“Our team was selected because throughout the season we have been competing against teams from other clubs and we have been ranked quite high. Every member of our team was invited to go to nationals. I love the sport because it is very different to other sports I’ve played and that I’ve seen other people play. It’s very competitive and a very social sport. I have made many friends and am very excited to go to Brisbane with them.”
