IGSSA Cross Country

Our IGSSA Cross Country season reached its impressive finale last Friday. The squad’s dedication and hard work this year truly shone through!

Our journey began in Week 7 of Term 1 with the launch of our pre-season running program. Training sessions were held three to four times per week, covering varied terrains and locations. Our Friday runners can attest to the gruelling hill sessions they tackled weekly!

Our runners participated in various events throughout the season, including the Interhouse competition, School Sports WA, time trials, and joint running sessions with CBC athletes, all leading up to the climactic IGSSA Cross Country event.

Our Year 7 and Year 9 groups came in third place. We had impressive individual results, with several students running a Personal Best (PB), and overall, as a Team, we placed 5th.

We proudly thank our staff, Ben Walker and Leana Martin, for their excellent coaching across the season and look forward to another impressive season in 2025.
