Life Lessons With A Lunchbox – Julia Hales

Julia Hales (Class of 1998) was invited back to speak to some of our current Drama students to share her journey in the creative arts and discuss her play ‘We Belong Together.’ 

Julia has overcome many obstacles in her life and has gone on to have a successful acting career, including her own show at the Perth Fringe Festival. She provided the girls with some useful tips and strategies to be successful in theatre and in life.

It is no secret that attention spans have been steadily declining, especially among younger generations growing up immersed in digital technology. The average person’s attention span when using a digital device has plummeted from around two and a half minutes back in 2004 to just 47 seconds on average today – a dramatic 66% decrease over the past two decades.
