Mentoring Project In Full Swing

The SMCOGA Mentoring Project is in full swing! We took the opportunity to catch up with some of our mentors and mentees participating in the program over dinner.  There was plenty of spirited conversation and laughter over the course of the evening.

It is wonderful to see the connection between past and present students, and how the relationship develops when everyone is invested in the program.

It is no secret that attention spans have been steadily declining, especially among younger generations growing up immersed in digital technology. The average person’s attention span when using a digital device has plummeted from around two and a half minutes back in 2004 to just 47 seconds on average today – a dramatic 66% decrease over the past two decades.
