On a golden afternoon, young Alice follows a White Rabbit, who disappears down a nearby rabbit hole. Quickly following him, she tumbles into the burrow – and enters the merry, topsy-turvy world of Wonderland! Memorable meetings and whimsical escapades highlight Alice’s journey, which culminates in a madcap encounter with the Queen of Hearts – and her army of playing cards.
Last weekend, students from Years 7 – Â 9 brought to life the classic tale of Alice In Wonderland. The adventures of Alice and the characters she meets along the way, were so much fun to bring to life. The committed cast were very involved in the whole process – from creating movement, to singing and dancing, to deciding how they wanted to approach individual characterisation, for this they are to be commended. Each cast member has been open to everything and has taken on board the wonderful world of Alice.
A show like this does not just happen. I am so blessed to be surrounded by not only amazing colleagues, but extremely talented and incredibly enthusiastic students. We had an absolute ball piecing this crazy world together and hope you, our audience, enjoyed it just as much as we did.
