People Who Make Our Community Great: Melissa Gillougley

I’ve been working in the Santa Maria Boarding Community since 2015 as the Boarding Administration Officer. My job includes a little bit of everything including organising where everyone has to be, assisting the supervisors, Tracy Webster and Vanessa Carmody, and to help keep the community running smoothly.Â
My main thing that I love about my role is the girls. It honestly wouldn’t be the same without them. They always make me laugh and I love getting to know them all and see them grow up over the years. It’s a bit like having 152 sisters to look out for!Â
Something interesting about me that others might not know is that I used to be a figure skater. I used to train five nights a week and also compete so I totally understand the girls sports commitments.Â
