Story behind the laying of the Wreath

The laying of the wreath is an important part of the Anzac ceremony. The wreath is traditionally made of Laurel and Rosemary.  Laurel represents the brave and rosmary signifies rememberence.  Rosemary has particular significance for Australians, as it is found growing wild on the Gallipoli peninsula.
