Teagan To Play for Western Australia

Congratulations to Teagan Begovic (Year 10) who has been selected to play in the School Sport Australia 15s Netball Championships in Canberra in July.

Teagan has been playing netball since 2015. She currently plays for the Attadale Netball Club as goal attack or wing attack. She is also a keen footballer, playing for East Fremantle Power.

We asked Teagan what she loves most about netball. “I love netball because it is a team sport. I love meeting new people and creating friendships with people through the sport. I love being able to pick my teammates up and give everything my best shot for my team.” She said.

Teagan’s training sessions have become more regular since she was selected to represent WA. She trains for state every Friday after school and on Sunday mornings. This is also followed by club training and any other Association training, that comes up throughout the season.

When asked what she’s looking forward to most about the competition, Teagan said she’s looking forward to being with her teammates and competing against other strong netball players from around Australia.

We’d like to wish Teagan all the best for her time in Canberra.
