A Night Under the Stars: Year 11 Social

School socials make up an important aspect of high school life. We all remember them. Whenever we post stories about school socials on our website or social media, our alumni always share memories of their own socials during their time here at the College.

With COVID restrictions, the Year 11 Social originally planned for Term 1, finally went ahead last Saturday. The girls thoroughly enjoyed the night they’ve been waiting all year for.

The Social was held at Fremantle Sailing Club. Despite the rain and stormy weather, the girls all managed to make it inside the venue with hair and makeup intact and looking absolutely lovely.  ‘A Night Under the Stars’ was the theme for the evening.

The atmosphere was great, and the girls loved the music from DJ Daniel, with many dancing the whole night away. The food was beautiful and just kept coming all evening. It was great to see the students moving around the room, socialising and enjoying each other’s company.

Thank you to the staff who attended the evening, supporting Year 11 Dean, Marsha Pengilly in hosting the event and making sure the night ran smoothly.

It was a great success and one we are sure these girls will also remember when they look back over their time at the College.
